At the core of AlphaTrend is a real-time system that automatically adjusts to evolving market conditions. These bands act like a roadmap — helping you identify mean-reversion opportunities, gauge trend strength, and spot emotion-driven conditions like FOMO.
The system is rooted in mean reversion: when price deviates significantly from its historical average, it tends to revert over time. Price stretched too far above the mean can signal a pullback (a potential sell or short); price dropped well below the mean may be undervalued (a potential buy in anticipation of a bounce).
Dynamic DOTS
Market overextension, visualized in real time
AlphaTrend visualizes overextension through dynamic DOTS that update as each candle forms — appearing, disappearing, and shifting color based on current intensity.

No repainting. Once a candle closes, the DOTS are permanently fixed. Many indicators repaint and revise data after the fact, undermining trust — AlphaTrend does not.
FOMO Candles
An early-warning system for irrational moves
FOMO — Fear Of Missing Out — is a key emotional driver in volatile markets. AlphaTrend flags FOMO candles by changing their color (fully customizable) to highlight potentially irrational buying or selling. These conditions can persist short-term on macro or geopolitical catalysts, but often lack sustainability, so FOMO candles signal caution and frequently precede trend reversals.
Institutional Money Flow
Follow the smart money
AlphaTrend tracks capital moving in and out of the market from major institutions and banks, plotted in blue and yellow in the lower panel. This helps you distinguish retail-driven moves from those driven by smart money — alongside auto-generated support and resistance levels and real-time supply and demand zones.
